🐧 --- There's a familiar -- at least to some who heard it at the time -- noise that seems oddly reminiscent of the first body discovery that comes from the gift shop. Wonder who's there. --- 🐧

Madoka was simply minding her own business when she heard some noise from the gift shop. Surprised, she halted in her movements and turned her head to where said room laid. Abandoning her previous plans of going to the backstage area - so she could take yet another look at the door there -, the detective quickly walked to the source of this interruption.
As she got there, Madoka opened the door and asked without an ounce of hesitation:"What's going on?!"

🐧 --- Inside the gift shop, Madoka finds... well, nothing really concerning other than the fact that Osatsu seems to be cupping their face with both of their hands, squatting on the floor with their knees brought up to their chest. A book seems to be open and face down at their feet. They don't seem to stop making that "OOOHMM" noise even when Madoka bursts in, though they do bring down their hands from their face when she asks them what's going on.
With a bright red face and their hair going everywhere, they look up at the detective before stammering out something along the lines of: Then they go back to cupping their face with their hands. A groan escapes them. --- 🐧

Her worries of something having gone awry were almost instantly soothed as soon as her eyes fixated onto Osatsu. There was no blood to be seen anywhere and the comedian didn't seem to be injured. Relief washed over Madoka as she allowed herself to sigh quietly, before confusion took over. If they hadn't been harmed, then why were they making such a commotion? There had to be a reason to that, right?
Tilting her head slightly, she was just more confused to see Osatsu, out of all people, being bright red in the face. They weren't even able to stutter out a normal sentence before cupping their face again. What in the world could've made them this embarrassed?
(She was definitely curious now.)
Then, her eyes went down to where the face down book had been. Albeit she'd taken notice of it before, her attention had been primarly on Osatsu. Maybe this could tell her why they were in such an odd state? But how could a book achieve that, especially after the ones they, Osatsu and her received from the machine? It couldn't be this much worser, could it?
Taking a few steps forward, Madoka bends down to pick up the book, innocently murmuring to herself:"What's this?"
As she turned it around to take a look at the content, Madoka froze.
Mouth slightly agape, Madoka blinked at the pages that she was staring at, as if she was trying to process what she was looking at. As seconds ticked away, the blush on her face got more and more intense, until she was just as bright red as Osatsu. Completely flustered, Madoka let out a high-pitched scream (akin to a 'KYAH!') and threw the book up with all of her might, before squatting down and cupping her face in embarrassament as well.
... It didn't help much that the thrown book landed right atop on her head.
"No, no, no, g-get off of me!", Madoka squeaked as she swatted the book off her head, but didn't dare to look where it actually landed.

#its a doujin fellas implied sexe stuff in the italicized dialogue🐧 --- When their ears picked up on Marugou's murmur, there was a delay in their reaction before they quickly lifted their face from their hands, mouth open to warn her of the horrors that laid between those pages-- but they were too late. She had already seen it with how her face was now almost as red as theirs. Or at least, they guessed-- they weren't sure, they were just embarrassed by it. How were they supposed to react?! They couldn't just keep being like 'oh hm, looks interesting' if this type of stuff continued to be sent their way over and over-- --plus, there were images. They saw them. How they-- they-- oh god--They let out another groan as they tried to cover their face with a hand, but as they looked, something smacks right into their face, letting out a clack against their glasses as it flutters to the ground. Placing a hand on their face, they let out a small 'oof' before looking down at what object bonked them in the face. Something in them knew what it was, but they were never always sure. Their eyes accidentally catch a glimpse of the text that was on the pages that the book was open to, and they-- well, they accidentally read a part of it. "Nyeheheh. I'll treat you as gently as possible, Santako-chan."
"K-K-Krampsuke-kun--!"Upon reading that, something just... snaps their patience in two. In a three part series of actions with "AAAAAAAA!"'s in between every step that they made, they grab the book and get up before throwing it on the ground. Then, as their final step, they proceed to stomp on it with a foot over and over again, as if they're venting all of what they're feeling now into every single stamp they make on this book. With one final stomp to the 18+ doujin, they kick it up into the air before kicking it away from them... ...not watching to see where it flew. --- 🐧

Looks like you weren't the only one not watching where the book flew!!!
With a loud SMACK the book hits a certain giant right on the face. It.. appears he was walking in due to hearing all the commotion the two of you were causing. Which was probably a bad move, knowing his luck.
With the book falling back onto the floor, Ootani stares at Marugou and Osatsu. Was it you, or did it he seem a teensy bit out of it?
Looking down at the book, he picks it up-- quickly flipping through the pages to see what was causing the two of them to scream. However..., he doesn't register it. At all.
Ah, he's running on auto pilot, isn't he.
A yawn.

Although Madoka did hear a clacking noise right after she smacked the book away from her head, the detective didn't look up just yet. If anything, she needed a moment - or more like a few moments -, to regain at least a resemblance of composure. It was difficult to achieve that though, as those stupid pictures just didn't want to leave her mind alone, constantly flashing themselves in front of her inner eyes.
(Right now, Madoka wouldn't mind to have a blackout.)
Osatsu's outburst did manage to snap her out of it - at least to some degree -, as she finally lifted her head up, only to see Osatsu curbstomping the book repeatedly. There was something oddly satisfying about this image, because if it wasn't for Madoka being too shocked to do much else besides dying from embarrassment, she would've loved to join him. There were just some kind of books that shouldn't exist at all, period.
And then, the book learnt to fly--
Only to hit Ootani right in the face.
"..."
Stupefied by this entire miraculous chain reaction, all Madoka could do was look at the newcomer with big eyes and flushed cheeks. And they grew even bigger when Ootani suggested to burn it.
"... That's a great idea. We should burn it with fire", the detective said, almost in awe. Guess she was also out of it, because really, what else could burn something? Water? Madoka, please.

🐧 --- Ootani's response to the entire mess that Osatsu and Marugou were making was almost sobering to the comedian, shooing away their scattered thoughts into a more coherent, neater line. The way that he seemed almost fazed to be holding a book that had that sort of content in it was almost surprising. Almost worthy to be envious over. What wouldn't they give to be the cool, calculated one in this situation. It was their brand! (...Not really. But they wished they didn't feel as much as they did.) It wouldn't really be the end of the world to say the least if Ootani said yes to the former, but... well, they weren't sure what to do if he did. They'd probably lay on the floor in defeat. --- 🐧

He stares at the both of them. Blinking a bit. It does look like he's been spacing out too much, maybe he needed some sleep.
He tugs his cheek, blinking a few times before yawning and finally looking back at the book again. Flipping through the pages.
Shrugging, Ootani closes the book, yawning once more. Perhaps he should get some sleep after they burn this book.

🐧 --- At Ootani's response to their inquiry, they were at a loss for words. How could they even react? The more they started to come back to earth, the more they realized that there was an audience that was watching their every move. They weren't sure how influential the audience was to an extent, but for some reason, they felt that staying on their good side would prove better results. It was a feeling that they weren't all that inclined to believe with gusto, but just to be safe...
After coming to their conclusion, Osatsu glances over at Marugou (while being dead on the floor) before letting out a sigh that they hadn't realized that they were holding it. Then they get up and walk over to where Ootani stood, placing a hand on his shoulder with an acknowledging nod of their head, almost seeming to start to revert back to their usual self with their cryptic-looking smile.
If only the flush on their cheeks went away faster... A laugh rumbles from them, before once again speaking in a flat tone. --- 🐧
