Ootani had never really felt this excited to be playing a game like this. Usually he wouldn't play a game that required having to chase others around-- but considering he's with new people, he figured he might as well play, right? Plus, he's never really had the opportunity to be the Oni, so of course he decided to volunteer himself for the role. Covering his eyes, he waited for everyone to hide-- counting to at least twenty just to be extra sure they had enough time to hide. Once the count was over, he uncovered his eyes and began his search. It didn't take him long to find one of the other players, for she was hiding behind a few trees. However, every time he looked behind one tree, she'd immediately dodge to another-- her long hair didn't help her much there, not when he would see the tips flowing in the air whenever she ran. He finally managed to find Yamato, after a few minutes of running after her while checking the trees. And so, the two of them were now teamed up, trying to find the other remaining players.

Playing hide and seek, in these circumstances, was— an unexpected turn of events. Yes, that was the best way to put it. But everything, lately, had been one unexpected event after the other, sweeping everything Nadeshiko was accustomed to far away. She didn't like it. The circumstances, the deaths, and that sense of helplessness... Hide and seek was something simple. Simple rules, simple framework. Maybe, if only a bit, she could get her bearings through something like that.
Unfortunately, just because it was simple doesn't mean she was any good at it. Somehow, she'd gotten it in her head that she could climb a tree and hide, which needless to say didn't work out. Even with it (or, maybe because of it) turning into a game of tag, she'd been caught quickly... first, in fact.
Uh, wow, okay. At least she's honest.
Glancing down at the looping footprints they'd left at the snow, Nadeshiko seemed to smirk(???) before gesturing back to the yukigassen field.
Assuming they hadn't trampled over anyone else's prints, no one else had come down to the forest... seemed like it was time to double-back.

Scratching his cheek, he laughs a bit nervously at Yamato's response. Sure, she was being honest, but he wasn't expecting that kind of answer. Looking back at the field, Ootani nodded. That was a good plan of action. Since it did look like it was only the two of them that had come here. He could only assume the rest of them had hidden themselves over there. Thankfully, it didn't take them that long to get to the fields-- well, more so it felt as if they only got there within five minutes, but that might be due to Ootani not paying much attention to anything during the walk. He was more so occupied with how he'd find the other students. So, when the two did eventually arrive to the Yukigassen Field, he was a bit shocked-- thinking it only took such a small amount of time to even get there. However, that shock was immediately shoved aside, for he had to find the other students with Yamato!

Help. Takane needed to get help. He was running as fast as his legs would take him without stumbling over, with an urgency and expression of worry normally uncharacteristic of the golfer. He ran from the eastern area towards the lodge, scanning the outdoors around him on his way to see if there was anyone more easily available. Takane skidded to a stop upon sighting two figures in the distance by the Yukigassen Field, took a breath, and broke into an even harder sprint.
When he got within earshot of the two—Ootani and Yamato—He called out towards them and began to slow down. Though he needed to catch his breath so he could say more than one word, he said one thing clearly and cryptically.
"A Body!"
After taking several seconds to breathe, he pointed east, and spoke in a commanding yet anguished tone.
"Stop whatever it is you're doing, you both need to come with me, now. There's a body, and we need to get to the lifts. There's no time to waste, damn it!"

As the three approached the Eastern Lift, guided by Ishida, they noticed something strange. It appeared as if someone was already occupying the lift. At a glance, you might have mistaken it as someone having fallen asleep, resting on the seat within the lift. However, the blood that covered her hair the seat around her made it clear that something was... off, to say the least. Tenshin Sakurako, the Super High School Level Waitress, was laying dead within the lift. Her signature heart shaped bow appeared to be missing. All you could think of as you stared at her corpse was that one of you had to have been responsible for her death. Even though everyone had brushed off the motive, it was clear that someone took the whole thing to heart much more than they let on.

Just then, a familiar sound echoed across the mountain tops for all to hear. Ding Ding Dong! Ding Ding Dong!Krampusuke's voice crackled over the intercom, just as expected. Once everyone had arrived, their electronic student ID cards all began to vibrate. Upon checking them, they would find the second X-File. Merry Days END 13/16 Student Remain
