The day after the sunrise that unfolded the truth upon you all, all sixteen of you were gathered for breakfast in the Dining Room. There was an announcement at 8AM to wake you up every day from Krampusuke and Santako-- even yesterday though you all were most likely awake already, the announcement had blasted throughout the lodge. Hell, when you had hot breakfast awaiting you anyway with food that tasted of heaven, why would you not go the next day for another free meal first thing?
When Mukizu had finished serving you all, he took a step back and spoke up, interrupting those who had dived in overeagerly for their food and stopping those just about to.
"Pardon me, but I have a request to be asking of all of you."
Any chatter died down-- perhaps a few murmurs or short replies at best existed but that was it.
"I believe it would be in our collective best interest if I might be able to investigate all of your personal bedrooms for weapons or any other suspicious articles. Those that looked within my research lab might have noticed that the suitcases contained throwing knives, so it is completely within the realm of possibility that any one of you might be in possession of something that may threaten any one of our personal safety."
"...My belief is that at the very least, the mastermind could be hiding something from one of us."
His stare was heavy and accusing yet at no one in particular.
"As such, if any one of you is to refuse this search, it may not be in your best interest as you shall be of higher suspicion for going against the group."
"...Regardless, I understand those who may have reservations about allowing me to do so, so I have recruited Marugou-sama to aid me."
As if on cue, Marugou stood up and nodded at the butler, before addressing all assembled students with a serious look on her face.
"It's as Mukizu said. We'll make sure that no one hides anything suspicious - and if we do find something dangerous, we'll definitely note it down, so no one can pull a fast one on us."
"If possible, we'll try to dispose of it, too. However, if that's not gonna happen for one reason or another, it would be wise to move it someplace else. Best to keep all possible weapons in a single room and keep watch over it."
"That would require everyone's cooperation, of course. We would need eight duos, with each having a three hour shift to guard the appointed room."
"Might I suggest the kitchen? Even if none of your rooms were to be holding any suspicious items, the kitchen holds a multitude of potential weapons. It would be inconvenient to remove sharp items from it when cooking meals is essential to our livelihood, but this way we can still accomplish making food and guarding anything we are to find."
"Good thinking there, Mukizu. Makes the most sense out of all available rooms here. Guess that’s one less worry right there."
"Oh yeah, before I forget - to make it fair, we'll naturally allow for two of you to search through our rooms as well. Gotta keep things equal and all."
"So, what's your answer? Really hope for cooperation here myself."
