There was a face.
A distinguished face, one that can be recognized for how stiff and perplexed it had made others look.
That face, the face of confusion, had come upon Isayama, who stood with her mouth agape, dumbfounded.
Wait.... What?
She been speechless, not knowing what to say to Shimakage.
She had tried.
"You... How did you- when did-"
But failed.
However, when after Yanagi spoke and the conman spoke again, Isayama had somehow found her voice again. Although... It been still full of confusion.
"Wait, What? What? Whhhaaat????????????"
She clearly had some trouble here trying to understand the info dump that been piled on her.
"I do not understand? I do not understand!?"
Isayama.exe has stopped working, please wait patiently as we try to solve this problem-
"What do you mean you heard them?? How do you mean Suzuki-san is alive? What about the blood- Suzuki-san not being here in the trial with us- what about the discovery annoncement? I do not understand at all?"
Isayama.exe has offically stopped working, please restart and try again later-
Isayama had stood still in concern, what did any of this mean? What was going on? Did not people die when they are killed? She had many questions inside her head- yet she could not process the information all together enough to formulate a proper thought. The last thing- she had remembered clearly, been that Utazawa had spoken to Suzuki.
She could only do what she been able in that moment, and had turned her gaze to Utazawa. The expression on her face been somewhere between pleading and questioning.
"Utazawa-san... Did you have anything to do with the death of our peers, did you really take part in hurting them?"
She had done her best, but still stood to understand nothing.

Intently listening to Ootani's descriptions, Madoka nodded occasionally, trying to fit in these new informations into the bigger picture. Different knobs which were pointed into different directions and additionally were probably used for sound effects, the rope in the middle of it, the wall not reaching the ceiling completely... Quite frankly, she wasn't exactly sure what to make of any of this. Maybe she should've gone there herself, instead of wasting her time with the seats... Well, can't exactly travel back in time now, can she?
While she tried to come up with something that might help them, her attention was instantly snatched by Shimakage the moment he claimed that Suzuki wasn't even dead. Sharp, brown eyes were resting on the conman, definitely curious to hear what he had to say next. Although she did wager that Suzuki's case was different, she wouldn't have thought that he faked his death - nevermind that he was the mole for the mastermind?!
"What the heck", Madoka was unable to hold that comment back, surprised to be given such useful intel at a murder trial. One hand reached up to her chin, holding it inbetween her thumb and index finger. While carefully processing this newly acquired information, she was also paying attention to the discussion that took place afterwards.
After Isayama's little outburst, Madoka found that now's a good time to pipe up again. Turning to face Shimakage yet again, Madoka said after a little nod:"Good job, Shimakage. Thanks to your actions, this case is starting to make so much more sense then before. And hey, always good to finally get some details on who is running the show, even if it's just an henchman."
Madoka would give credit where credit was due - and Shimakage definitely earned it after finding out so much for them.
Next up, she addressed Isayama:"Calm down, Isayama. You heard Shimakage right, Suzuki is working for the mastermind and he faked his death to switch to our side - though I'm rather doubtful of that intention myself. Dunno from where he would get all this fake blood, but then again, if he worked for the mastermind, he definitely could access more places than we can - like the audio room at the backstage."
After repeating Shimakage's findings, she turned to look at the student body as a whole:"As of right now, Suzuki and Utazawa are our prime suspects in Ishida's case. Considering everything, they most likely worked together to pull this stunt off." A bold claim, but Madoka sounded rather confident as she continued on:"First of all, it was already a bit strange how Utazawa invited us all to a concert out of nowhere. However, if you take into account how that would allow him to bypass the first body discoveres if we were all assembled, it would make sense. Furthermore, he couldn't have exactly opened up door to the audio room, as he had been in his room until 2:41 pm. 'Course, he could've opened it up before 2 pm, but it would be more sensible to assume that it was Suzuki who opened up the door. He would have access to an audio room."
Shifting her weight from one leg to the other, the hand that held her chin was moved slightly to the side, with her index finger pointing up:"Adding to that, I wanna redirect everyone's attention back to the message Ishida got - with the first issue being how it was even send to begin with. None of our IDs are capable of doing such a feet, so it must've come from either the mastermind or the mole. Also, while some of us might've been aware that people were attacked ingame, how would anyone know how many times someone has been attacked? I don't think that Ishida would necessarily share that kind of information with anyone, so the only reasonable explanation for that would be that whoever sent it, they were able to monitor how everyone played the game. Suzuki fits perfectly into that profile and he doesn't have an alibi at all. However, we still need to deal with the whole electrocution deal - which means either Utazawa killed him through the game or Suzuki pulled some kind of electric magic on the handle."
Now crossing her arms before her chest, she fixated her eyes on Utazawa:"... So, feel like talking yet, Utazawa?"

"Wow, tons of y'all don't have much of a memory, huh? Whatevs, you're giving me a wicked headache." Utazawa sighs, unsure about what accusation to even tackle first. "First of all, no, Isayama, you don't have to believe me but I honestly didn't have jack shit to do with this case. I attacked Ishida at around 3:09...and there were A TON of witnesses. Kinda a shit move on my part if I was trying to kill the dude. Also, kinda wish Shimakage was a better spy, but I'll leave it at that."
"Anyway, yeah, I had an alibi like most of us. I was at the Northern lift. There were five people there by the time i took out my ID to play the stupid game-- Nagareboshi, Ootani, Komatsuzaki, Isayama and Osatsu. I first showed up at the lift at like, 2:55, and Nagareboshi and Ootani were already there. I dunno what else you want me to add."

Sometimes .... Sometimes things became overwhelming, you know? Especially when it came from Shimakage of all people, for example. It wasn't everyday that Ootani spoke to him, but the conman sure did have a knack for throwing down bombshells! Dropping his pen, he stares at the other with wide eyes, trying his best to even comprehend what was just said. Though, he didn't have enough time to do so-- since the conversation had shifted over to Utazawa in the time that he was trying to get his head back into the game. Shaking his head-- he bends down to pick his pen back up.

He wasn't sure when Shimakage became the most helpful person in the trial room, but Yanagi couldn't do anything but stare at him with starry eyes- as much as Shimakage wanted to stay here, he seemed determined to help them, and he can't help but smile at his feet. Yes, they were at a murder trial, and yes, they were talking in circles and helpless, but he finally, finally figured out something else about him. Gently and softly he rocks on his feet, trying to steer his thoughts back to the case at hand- trying to figure out, what, exactly, would make the most sense.
"So if it wasn't Suzuki-san who worked with Utazawa-san- because, as Shimakage-san has been saying, Utazawa-san is the only one who could've drained Ishida-san's hearts posthumously, who would've? Who would've had access to the systems that could send messages? Suzuki-san is the only one I could think of, unless, of course, the mastermind got involved... But, mm, we don't know who that is."
He looks, rather pathetically, at the people in the trial room, almost pleadingly.
"Is there any evidence we haven't discussed? Anything that would be important? I- please, we need all the help we can get, I think."

All this evidence made his head hurt, if he were to be honest here. Rubbing his temple, Ootani lets out a sigh of frustration. This trial was really starting to him and he didn't like it!!!! "Alright....," Inhale, exhale-- breathe, think. What were they overlooking..? Was it how he was electrocuted..? That was the only thing the giant could understand at this point. Well..., he's trying.

As the trial continued, eventually Krampusuke spoke up. He hadn’t said a word since Shimakage had brought up Suzuki being a traitor among the group. In fact, he was uncharacteristically quiet for such a bold claim that was being tossed around. However, he did speak up eventually. Although, it might not have been what everyone was expecting him to bring up. With that, the sound of someone protesting and struggling came from up above. A few minutes later Suzuki appeared at the bottom of the steps leading down to the trial room, with Santako escorting him. He finished his talk by cheekily placing one of his paws on his muzzle.

. . . ( Oh. So he really was.... alive. ) Pinching his own left cheek, Ootani looked at Suzuki, wondering if this was a dream or not. Someone faking their own death-- it was ridiculous! Absolutely ridiculous! How was he so sure that this wasn't entirely a dream? Well, that pinching seemed to be painful enough. So perhaps this was reality. Concerning. He taps his cheek before looking over at Krampusuke.
