In the Backstage there is a colorful door, in an almost Tie-Dye pattern. Although it was locked before the murder, it seems to be able to be opened now.
Inside is a relatively narrow room with a variety of electronic equipment. There's a variety of control panels and machines. High up there appear to be catwalks just like in the SHSL Vocalist Research Lab. A rope appears to be laying on the ground.

It looked like Shimakage already had Ishida's body covered... so he figured, why not check out this room? Getting out his notepad from his pocket, Ootani looks around the room. Was there anything off aside from that rope? Were any of the control panels broken or were they working just fine and dandy?

Ootani, if he cranes his head upwards, takes note of two things: there's a catwalk in this room as well, and it seems connected to the catwalk in the backstage area of the SHSL Vocalist Research Lab. Secondly, the wall separating this room from the SHSL Vocalist Research Lab is actually more a partition than it is a wall since it doesn't reach all the way to the ceiling! Ootani would probably be able to tell from sight that it's sturdy at the very least.
None of the controls seem to be broken, but quite a few of the knobs seem to be turned. None of them are pointing in the same direction. There’s some small numbers printed around each knob.

Quickly jotting down his notes, Ootani raises an eyebrow at the controls. None of them were broken thankfully but... a few were turned?
Leaning in closer to the controls, he reads the small numbers that are printed around each knob. What do they indicate? ....Would they do anything if he turned them back?

The numbers seem to indicate hertz! You manage to hear an awful noise come from the next room over after fiddling with it a bit. Nice.

Muttering a 'sorry', Ootani quickly fixes the knob he had just turned. Looks like those knobs didn't... really do anything but fix the sound, huh? Alright, then, the rope. Finally making his way to it, he picks up the rope and inspects it.Did it come from anything? Any marks on it? He looks up at the catwalk once again before looking down at the rope. No. Ootani, you cannot use it to climb on up to the catwalk using the rope. It's not a grappling hook.

Upon turning the knobs back, you hear another cacophony of noises from the room over. Sounds a little different than the last time though. You can see that the rope is about 40ft long, maybe just a bit longer. It’s not coiled on the ground neatly but somewhat sprawled out. It’s underneath the catwalk that’s high up in the room. All the evidence has been found in this room!

Raising an eyebrow at the noises, Ootani turns his head towards the door before looking at the knob. He's tempted to turn the knobs and hear the difference but, he's created enough noise for today! Besides..., maybe the others noticed that too. Now back to the rope. He placed it down before jotting down notes in his notepad. He pauses his sketching to really look at how the rope was laid down. Huh. Taking one more look up at the catwalk, he can only conclude that it fell from there-- why else would there be that long of a rope? Finishing his notes, Ootani takes one last look at the room, frowning. Looks like he could find all that he could....
