Oh, right, she better pull the emergency breaks back, so it can be used at all times. Thus, she'll undo what she's done, so the lift can operate normally again.
Alright, let's go back to all the footprints that can be found here - is there any kind of print that looks off? Or goes into another direction? For example, where the lift actually goes to the east? Actually, does any snow here look like as if there's more than there should be?
... Then again, Madoka has a better idea. "Be right back, Ootani", she said to her fellow classmate, before climbing on the lift and riding it down to the mountains. She keeps an eye on anything underneath and around her - in case she can find something out of the ordinary - like some kind of print in the snow or any kind of item that might be lying around.

Oh, there she goes. Ootani waves at the detective with his left hand-- sketching up the crime scene right after.

There's one set of footprints leaving the Eastern Lift Station instead of entering it. It seems to be heading off towards the Yukigassen Field. Other than that, nothing seems off about the snow or footprints.
When looking down the mountain from the view on the lift, Marugou notices that the snow leading down this side of the mountain is uneven. There's some patches of snow, but also some patches of mud. There's also a few signs with Krampusuke's face on it. It's hard to see them from this distant, but they seem to be warning that this side of the hill isn't meant for skiing. Down the hill Marugou also notices a strange wavy line pattern.

Madoka waved back, before she flew high into the skies, free from her prison--
Yeah, right.
Noting her findings, Madoka jumps down from the lift when she reaches the other Eastern Lift Station and continues her investigations here. First of all, is there also a panel around that you could control the machine with? And if so, is there anything odd about it?
Furthermore, she would take a look around the area itself, see if she can find out any footprints and if so, guess from where they're coming from - and where they were heading to. Speaking of, might as well go and investigate those strange, wavy line patterns she saw from above! If she goes near it, what will she see?

The lower Eastern Lift Station is much like the upper one. There is a similar control panel used to call the lift back and forth between the two areas. Marugou also notices a snowboard leaning up again the side of the control panel. Investigating the wavy lines, off to the side of the lift, Marugou notices a thin line leading from the top of the mountain down to the bottom, although it moves around slightly rather than traveling in a straight line. All evidence has been found in this area.

Madoka takes the snowboard and inspects it - is it maybe a bit wet on the underside? And would it match with the thin lines found on the mountain itself?
When she's done with that, Madoka takes the lift back to the other station, so she can investigate the footprints leading away from the station and towards the Yukigassen field; if she were to put her feet besides it, by how much larger or smaller is it? Any definite pattern to it?

The snowboard is a bit wet and has some traces of mud on it. It looks about the same width as the strange line coming down the mountain.
Moving back to the Central Area, the footprints leading towards the Yukigassen Field are a bit larger than Marugou's.

Concluding her investigations in this place, Madoka decides to do one last thing before she leaves it for good - which involves temporarily leaving the lift, before minutes later returning with her polaroid camera in her hands. She takes a photo from the footprints specifically, so she has comparison at hand once they reach the trial.
And then, she's off to continue her search elsewhere.... goodbye, Madoka.
