Eyes wandered as she sat on her bed, feeling the weight of their situation pressing on the edges of her mind. To think that two of their classmates, people she thought of like any other person-- could be gone in a flash, as the air around the group just seemed to grow thicker. Was there really nowhere they could go, would it truly be the rest of their lives to be stuck in such a horrible place? Her feet slid against the wooden floor, slightly pounding against the floor in frustration before mustering up any semblance of determination to continue her day as she normally would. Grabbing her sketchbook off her nightstand along with a pencil, she thought it'd be best to at least try and go out-- instead of wallowing in her own pity.
Soft footsteps made their way to the second floor of the library, looking around for a good spot to sit and sketch some ideas. Drawing had always been a means of escape for her, being able to ignore the world around her for a little bit. Drawing stories that she could fantasize, with simpler things to worry about, like being late for school-- or asking a crush out... they weren't things she really cared much for, but people seemed to find it interesting at least... Wandering around almost daydreaming when she noticed a familiar face around... snapping her back into reality for a moment.
It was Ootani... He didn't seem to notice her at the moment, though he seemed to be all on his own. Komatsuzaki wasn't really the one for socializing, but she was interested enough to see what he was up to. Softly moving towards the small lounging space he was sitting at, she spoke softly--
"Um... Ootani, was it? I was wondering if I could sit next to you and doodle for awhile."
