Suzuki was on a quest. What was he on a quest for, might you ask? What was his goal? His purpose? His hope? Ah, maybe that was layering the dramatics on a bit too much, but. Suzuki Hayato was a pretty hungry boy. A hungry hungry hippo. Or a hungry hungry Hayato, if you will. The target of his desires were a bag of chips. But not just any bag of chips, a bag of doritos. But not just any bag of doritos. These doritos. Needed to get in the Christmas spirit, and all that. The wolf, or maybe it was the reindeer, who knew, had mentioned something about this all being on live television. Suzuki didn't want to be on live television! Not at all! He was an audio engineer, someone who worked behind the scenes, who edited what people saw on TV. He didn't take part in anything, he didn't act, he didn't voice anything, nada, nothing, no thanks. Suzuki Hayato was 'good out here', as one might say if they were playing the hit game Dungeons & Dragons as a wizard named after a food. He didn't want to make himself known in that way or anything of the sort. So, to play down his anxieties, a tasty snack of doritos it was. Yum. Suzuki hurries into the kitchen, pointedly avoiding eye contact with anyone else who might be in there at the moment, rummaging around the shelves trying to find what he was searching for.

—— [mocha voice] hey do u mind if i make a short starter *does this*
There were very few things that reminded Mukizu of home, and whilst this kitchen in particular did not resemble any of the ones he had used in his life, the very concept of its purpose and functionality was enough to make him feel at ease even if only slightly. It was the comfort of seeing and knowing precisely what he must do without a second thought: the comfort of predictability.
He was not the only one in the kitchen ( predictably so, for growing teenagers required the very fuel that made them grow in the first place) and the bright magenta of the audio engineer's jacket made it awfully difficult to miss him.
A quick surveryance of the shelf that the blond was looking at and it was a little clear that the other was not looking for spices or herbs but rather something in the unhealthy section, though even then there were a variety of potato chips and small factory-made cakes that the engineer seemed to be skipping over. Precisely what was he scavenging for? What treasure was there to forage in a simple pantry?
"Suzuki-sama."
He says it with a practiced tone that teeters between whether he wants to be polite or very forceful, coming off more as a soft yet commanding address as a result, before he continues:
"Is there something that you are looking for in particular? I need to learn the inventory that is at our disposal, so to aid you would be a benefit for the whole."
Worded to sound as if he were doing this to help everyone but in actuality the statement veiled the butler's self-interest rooted from curiosity as to what Suzuki was feverishly looking for. Despite his meddlesome half-request, Mukizu kept a decent few lengths away from the other so as to respect personal space at first.

Food sure was good.
Admittedly, Utazawa was not particularly skilled in the kitchen, not to mention he was not exactly itching to try his hand at cooking on his on, but with a lodge filled with teens...there surely had to be some ready-made food or snacks, right? So it really couldn't hurt to check out the kitchen for a bit. Hey, maybe if he was really lucky there would already be someone cooking something up! And who wouldn't want to share their cooking with someone as famous as him?
(Sure, everyone here was famous...but he was especially famous!)
Much to his luck, he spotted two other people in the kitchen, seemingly searching the pantry. That was a good sign-- you usually had to find ingredients before you could cook, right?
"Hey, my dudes! What's cookin'?"
As he got closer, he tried to peak and see what the smaller boy, Suzuki Hayato, was searching for.
"...Chips? What's the big deal-- just pick a bag and call it a day!" He turned to Mukizu. "Soooooo...were you thinking of making anything by any chance?"
